Here to defibrillate the bay area, these house-masters under the wing of San Francisco’s own Dirtybird Records are throwing down all day September 14 on Treasure Island. Alongside the aforementioned acts, the lineup includes label members J Phillip, Christian Martin, and Worthy, with special guests. Dirtybird Records, spearheaded by Von Stroke, sprung from co-founder Christian Martin’s provision of free dance parties to music enthusiasts in Golden Gate Park. The label served as an outlet for experimentation with sounds and styles diverging from the industry standard for house music. Far from average, the artists and managers of Dirtybird exercise musical freedom with the goal of providing a fun time and good vibes to all at their events while simultaneously revolutionizing the realm of EDM. With the City as the backdrop to this bass-bumping BBQ, all those faithful will converge in the middle of the Bay to groove, gorge, and glow.
