Start planning your weekend concert wear: White Lung, the Vancouver band Pitchfork calls “riveting” and “relatable” is getting ready to rile up our Rickshaw Stop this Saturday.
Your obvious goal is not to miss this, but if you need more convincing than verbal hyperbole, plug in your high-definition headphones and get a little more excited by watching the video for White Lung’s latest single “In Your Home.”
Supporting bands are Wax Idols, a ferocious act in their own right, and powerpop rockers RedRedRed. Doors are 7 p.m., and the cover is only ten to twelve bucks. That’s pretty much theft for a lineup as nice as this one. Consider stocking a little extra evening cash for the merch table to support these good musicians proper.
If you’re traveling, or reading from another land (say, D.C. or LA or Brooklyn or Mars), also check out White Lung, on tour now, in another city.
