Welcome back to ✨Ones to Watch Wednesdays✨ whe Welcome back to ✨Ones to Watch Wednesdays✨ where we feature artists we recommend you check out. We’ve selected People Under the Stairs for our From the Bay artist, Cannelle for our On the Rise artist, and Wasia Project as our OTW to Mainstream. Read more about them down below⬇️

From the Bay 🌉
🎶From LA to the Bay: People Under The Stairs🎶
Originally from Los Angeles, this iconic hip hop duo—Double K and Thes One—found their groove in the Bay Area after forming in 1997. With a DIY approach, they crafted beats and samples that resonated worldwide, rejecting mainstream labels to create a unique legacy.
Their last album, Sincerely, The P, dropped in 2019, marking the end of an era. Remembering Double K, whose spirit lives on through their timeless tracks 🎵

On the Rise↗️
All the way from France, the sweet and electrifying beats of Cannelle stand out and make you want to dance as if you were in your local arcade, playing Dance Dance Revolution in the 2000s 🍭🍬💃🪩. Her lyrics over her obsessive instrumentals are self-affirming, inducing confidence and making you feel dainty and hella cute, especially in songs like “Lucky.” With only three singles out, ‘Lucky,’ ‘Cinna Wya?’ and recently, ‘CLOVER,’ for her upcoming EP, she manages to deliver and keep you interested in what she has next as an artist on the rise! 🍀@canfrgu

OTW to Mainstream 🎶
This sibling duo 👯‍♀️, all the way from the UK 🇬🇧 ; Wasia project will put you in your feels and help you out of them with a touch of jazz, pop, and a bit of shoegaze 🎷🎹🕺. With their hit single “ur so pretty” that was featured in Netflix’s ‘Heartstopper,’ to their most recent track album “Isotope,” their music gives an insight of the instrumentals used and displays a transcription of genres. If you enjoy music from @laufey’s discography and chill but hyped (lyrically and instrumentally) music, Wasia project is the right artist for you! @wasiaproject
