Surfer Blood to play The New Parish, then release vinyl pressings on Record Store Day

With a new Record Store Day release to come out this Saturday, Surfer Blood are taking over the Bay Area between their two Coachella shows. The Florida-based alternative-rock band will be headlining The New Parish in Oakland on April 18th, with support from SF locals GRMLN and French Cassettes. The band also intends to release a vinyl pressing of demos from their latest album Pythons in acknowledgement of Record Store Day this Saturday, April 19th.

If you’re looking for a good way to kick off the weekend, beat the Coachella crowds and come see Surfer Blood right here in the East Bay. Tickets are still available here; we’ll see you at the show.
