Snoop Dogg releases gospel album

On March 16th, Snoop Dogg released a 32-track gospel album titled Bible of Love (2018) under the gospel label RCA Inspiration. This has been long awaited by fans after a surprise announcement on Beats 1 last year that he was working on it. The album features renowned gospel singers like Kim Burrell, Mary Mary, Marvin Sapp, Rance Allen, and The Clark Sisters.

Thus far, the album has garnered mixed reviews. Some have praised the tracks as having a spiritual uplifting effect, while others say it has less edge than a child’s balloon.”

This album follows Snoop’s October 2017 EP release, called Make America Crip Again, and is his second release this year (220 dropped this past February). No less, Tha Doggfather reveals another dimension of his interests and personality, trying to add to the complex layers of his known ethos as a self-identifying Crip from Long Beach/meme loving unc.
