It’s been five years since electronic duo Phantogram have graced us with a full-length, and frankly, that’s much too long a wait for fans of their distorted vox and mesmerizing hooks. Fortunately, their forthcoming Voices just dropped via stream on NPR–and just in time to compliment your dreamy Valentine’s Day mood. Check it out over at NPR’s First Listen. Phantogram, now five-year veterans of the indietronica scene, followed their gorgeously creepy debut Eyelid Movies (2009) with a couple of EPs, including Nightlife (2010), which was also first released as a stream on their Facebook page last year. Their newest single, “Fall in Love,” has been dominating top 40 radio, while preceding hit “Black Out Day” has already found its way onto an episode of CW show The Originals. The sampler tracks have already heightened our anticipation for the pulsing Voices, slated for release February 18.
