Rising British singer-songwriter Holly Humberstone enchanted her San Francisco audience with guitar-led synthpop and tattoo-worthy lyricism at the Regency Ballroom. Alternating between electric guitar and keyboard, Holly performed an introspective set of songs ranging from mental health (“Deep End”) to toxic relationships (“Scarlett”). Opening for Girl in Red (and Olivia Rodrigo later this month), Holly’s captivating set on Tuesday night simply reaffirmed her status as pop’s next big thing.
