Burger Records recently celebrated their sixth annual Burger Boogaloo festival this past Fourth of July weekend. Youngsters with colored hair and clad with an array of Burger Records pins joined older fans to commemorate the cult-like following of the Fullerton, CA-based independent record label that has been on the rise in the music community in recent years. In the midst of it all, the events of the weekend proved that the event was more than simply music — it was a celebration of the culture and fashion that surrounded the scene as well. Cult film director John Waters made frequent appearances to introduce bands in a standup comedy fashion. Check out pictures from the weekend in the photoset below.
