Last Friday, local musician DeRock Tucker gave The B-Side a live sneak peak of his upcoming EP No Worries, the follow up to his 2011 debut EP Silhouettes. The former jazz bassist turned singer-songwriter is exploring love, loss, and starting over in this new EP, which uses catchy melodies influenced by rock, reggae, and folk to create memorable arrangements that complement the honest and heartfelt lyrics. Check out our Classroom Session from last Friday above. DeRock performed four songs from No Worries and gave us a short, get-to-know-you interview. Give DeRock’s other stuff a listen on YouTube and SoundCloud, and be sure to follow him on Facebook and Twitter to get information about his upcoming releases and summer tour. The individual Classroom Session tracks are below.
