Art Strikes Back: Visual Review of Four Tet’s ‘Parallel Jalebi’

Melodic intricacies pour out from the speakers as my eyes transfix on a mash-up of what can only be described as a 1920s Fantasia vibe induced with Lucy singing in the Sky with the biggest Diamond she can get her hands on.

Four Tet’s new album Beautiful Rewind is inspiring and exactly the type of music I listen to when I create my art. But what is even better is the fact that they managed to put together some awesome animation footage in conjunction with one of their new tracks, “Parallel Jalebi.”

I created my visual rendition and interpretation of the song, and was infused with some inspiration from the video.
