“If you put your ear to the street, you can hear the rumble of the world in motion: people going to and from work, to school, to the grocery store. You may even hear the whisper of their living rooms, their conversation, their complaints, and if you’re lucky, their laughter.” (The Avett Brothers)
On Saturday, September 6, The Avett Brothers produced one of the best live shows that I’d seen in a long while. While somewhat set back from the crowd, the distance did not stifle their live performance. They excellently interspersed their quieter with their louder, more energetic songs, utilizing all the stage space and extra walkway added to UC Berkeley’s Greek Theatre for that night only.
