In just 15 days, on October 21 and 22, Aftershock Festival is returning to Sacramento, CA. This is the sixth year in a row that the hard-rock festival will take place at Discovery Park in downtown Sacramento. The festival began in 2012 as a one day event and included a strong lineup of around 14 bands including Stone Temple Pilots, Deftones, and Bush. By the next year, the festival expanded into a two-day event and delivered another strong lineup with headliners like Korn and Avenged Sevenfold. Over the next three years, the festival continued to bring fans the biggest names in rock music, and this year is no different.
Day one kicks off the festival with bands like Code Orange, Eagles of Death Metal, Gojira, Mastodon, Run the Jewels, among others. The day ends strong with a performance by A Perfect Circle, directly followed by Nine Inch Nails. And if that wasn’t enough, day two includes Of Mice & Men, Hollywood Undead, Marilyn Manson, Five Finger Death Punch, and concludes the festival with the “Godfather of Metal” himself, Ozzy Osbourne.
Aside from live music, the festival will also offer interactive experiences with a “Make Your Own Mark” art zone and a hands on “The Music Experience” exhibit, where fans will get a close look at the instruments and electronics used by bands. Fans will also get a chance to meet and get autographs from performers throughout the day.
With three stages, a killer lineup, and interactive experiences, Aftershock offers something special for fans and is definitely an event you don’t want to miss out on.
You can find the entire lineup, daily schedule, and ticket information on the official Aftershock website.
