Local non-profit indie music and food festival Phono del Sol will take place this Saturday, July 9 at Potrero del Sol Park (25th and Utah) in San Francisco. In its sixth year, the all-ages festival is produced by The Bay Bridged, presented with Tiny Telephone and DoTheBay, and headlined by Chairlift, a duo known for singles “Bruises” from Does That Inspire You (2008) and “I Belong In Your Arms” from Something (2012).

The lineup for Phono del Sol also features Alvvays, Born Ruffians, Mr Little Jeans, Adam Viva (FKA A-1), The Seshen, The She’s, Hot Flash Heat Wave, and Dick Stusso, of which Adam Viva, The Seshen, and The She’s represent Bay Area talent. The volunteer-run festival has been growing each year—it now has two stages, Mission and Potrero, rather than just the one it started with. This year’s event also has improved alcohol gardens (including a happy hour between noon and 2pm) and more family-friendly activities than before.

The festival boasts a number of food trucks, all serving a variety of treats; Doc’s Classic, Bacon Bacon, Curry Up Now, Frozen Khusterd, Dum Indian Soul Food, El Sur, Sajj Street Eats, Kokio Republic, Mozzeria Pizzeria, and Whisk on Wheels are slated to be in the park. Art, vendors, and tents will be up, the park’s skatepark will be open, and a portion of ticket sale proceeds goes to support the San Francisco Recreation and Park Department.

Beginning at noon and ending around 7pm, the festival provides attendees with the perfect way to celebrate summer in the city: afternoon sunshine, fresh grass, delicious food, excellent company, and incredible live music. You might even spot Pedro, the festival’s pink flamingo.

Tickets for the festival are available here and range from $40-250.
