Monday night, Canadian guitarist and songwriter Mac DeMarco will take the stage at the Fox Theater as part of his 2015-2016 World Tour.

DeMarco recently released a sublime mini-album Another One via Captured Track, in which he hardly strays from his off-kilter jam rock, enlisting humorous riffs and the sparkling sound of conversational countermelodies. In slower numbers, DeMarco wades in breathing synthesizers, whose dreamy aura pairs nicely with his crisp, wily voice, while still staying true to the cornerstone of his compositional technique: a graceful, articulate electric guitar presence.

Having gained considerable popularity due to his laid-back, easily listenable albums, DeMarco has launched himself into uncharted territory with his latest tour. His numerous festival performances have built on the natural appeal of his songwriting, and this latest tour gives him an opportunity to show off his chops as a headlining act. He’s known for giving all he’s got, and we’re sure we won’t be disappointed.
