R&B singer-songwriter and Grammy-nominated sensation Kelis is set to air her new culinary project on the Cooking Channel this week.
Saucy and Sweet will premiere Feb. 26 at 5:30 p.m. PST to a crowd of eager fans and foodies. In a recent press release, Kelis announced that her “passion is food” and “[her] life is an adventure to be savored.”
“I show my love through food,” said Kelis.
Her TV show is sure to be an excellent demonstration of love, as Kelis is a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu culinary school. She is also releasing a new album called Food in mid-April in addition to writing a cookbook.
Two great singles have already popped up on the Internet to preface her new record’s drop. “Jerk Ribs” and “Rumble” are great upbeat soul tracks that capture Kelis’ growing, more adult image. She is far away from her “Milkshake” days.
